My project vehicle is a 2030 Volkswagen ID Urban Compact which is an autonomous level four fully electric city car. With the EV platform, I designed a city car that has two distinctive features; first, the frontal ingress and egress. In heavy traffic situations, front door opening can deliver a safer and more convenient user experience for street parking. Even though the exterior shell retains the same shape, this vehicle will offer two different interior themes which are the utility mode and the lounge mode. Furthermore, users can customize even further within each theme based on their purposes.
