Although visually impaired individuals represent a significant portion of the population, only a small fraction of them possess braille terminals due to their high cost. Traditional braille terminals are relatively heavy and have a large keyboard-like form factor, resulting in low portability. Additionally, auxiliary devices that connect to smartphones offer limited information acquisition as they only provide shortcut keys. To address this, we propose 'Comm,' an information terminal that allows visually impaired individuals to conveniently carry it while maintaining information acquisition capacity. 'Comm' utilizes the MagSafe method to attach to a smartphone, allowing it to be held and used with one hand or both hands like a game controller. Information can be input using the braille key on the back of the smartphone, and braille output is displayed on both sides of the smartphone, enabling information access both indoors and outdoors.
