Working with Hydrow, we developed the Hydrow Wave, an entry-level at-home rower that brings the benefits of rowing to more people. Hydrow Wave is a portable, more affordable rowing machine that can be easily stored when not in use, opening it up to everyday people who don’t have the space or budget for more traditional rowing equipment. Key successes · Preserving the immersive rowing experience of the Hydrow Classic using the same eddy brake technology and identical human factors. · Reducing the size and weight of the device, ensuring it can be shipped by conventional carriers by shifting to a structural plastic unibody design. · Lowering the cost to appeal to a broader audience achieved through a new plastic construction methodology and the user doing final assembly. · Easy assembly and disassembly by one person with the aid of clever packaging and design features that serve as the third hand during assembly. · Optional vertical stand accessory that further reduces the initial rower investment, size, weight, and the footprint when not in use.
