When traveling long distances, I, like most people, enjoy listening to music with headphones. However, it has never been a comfortable experience. From the ear cups pressing against my ears, to the possibility that the headphones might break if I toss and turn, caused me anxiety. To achieve comfort and unique sound experience, I conceived the idea of ‘soksak,’ which means ‘whisper’ in Korean. ‘Soksak’ is a portable headphone cushion. With its bone conduction speaker module combined with memory foam, users can listen to audio without putting headphones on, and without disturbing nearby passengers.
