'The Monday Burger Club' is a social club that contributes to environmental protection by offering burgers made from sustainable ingredients every Monday. The traditional burger ingredients, including meat and dairy, contribute to the destruction of rainforests and emit significant amounts of greenhouse gases during production. Although many plant-based foods have been introduced to address these issues, spaces to experience these alternatives in everyday life are still scarce. This social club provides a natural and enriching experience of sustainable ingredients through the familiar format of burgers, thereby increasing accessibility to sustainable food choices. It also offers an opportunity to start the week with an environmentally friendly meal without the usual hassle, allowing for a joyful beginning to the week. Visitors can choose from a total of six ingredients—bread, meat, cheese, and vegetables—for their order, and receive a receipt that displays the greenhouse gas emissions of each ingredient in typography. Additionally, the club provides opportunities to share and enjoy a variety of sustainable foods with others, beyond just burgers.
