The CMF Sample Kit helps product designers and developers explore CMF samples made from various materials and processes, aiding the application of manufacturing techniques in real projects. Organized into four design themes and thirty topics based on design trends, it includes samples of plastics, metals, rubbers, fabrics, and eco-friendly materials, along with surface treatments like coating, printing, foaming, etching, deposition, and anodizing. The CMF sample set includes one base part and four pattern chips, showcasing a range of surface effects and shapes such as glossy, matte, corrosion, flat, curved, embossed, and debossed. The four pattern chips—basic, geometric, wave line, and square quilting—allow for easy comparison of different CMF effects. With a modular design, users can combine the pattern chips with the base part to compare colors and textures effortlessly.
