Our Cube is a groundbreaking musical instrument system designed for the hearing impaired. Rather than simply adding haptics to existing instruments, it introduces a new paradigm where music is created and experienced through touch. Each cube rotation corresponds to musical elements and is translated into detailed vibrations delivered via wearable devices. The system includes two wristbands and a pair of earbud-type vibrators. Each wristband contains four high-precision vibration motors. The left one features a detachable display for adjusting vibration intensity and monitoring connection status, while the right is optimized for harmony. All devices communicate via BLE and can be charged simultaneously using a compact charger. To enhance sustainability, eco-friendly plastics are used in parts of the Cube and charger. A companion mobile app lets users compose and share music using Cube gestures. All piano-playable songs can be recreated through Cube interaction, enabling both real-time performance and intuitive composition. Both the wristbands and earbud devices are designed to resemble familiar consumer electronics, reducing visual stigma and encouraging everyday use. This is more than a product—it marks the birth of a new industry. Deaf individuals can now rise beyond exclusion and thrive as creators, performers, and leaders in the world of music.
