This vegan meat package design reimagines the way society views vegetarians—moving away from the traditional, passive image and instead emphasizing boldness, strength, and conviction. Many plant-based designs portray gentle or subdued visuals, but this project aims to disrupt those expectations. By merging the seemingly opposite concepts of “vegan” and “meat,” the design plays with contrast to capture attention and redefine identity. The word “Beast” was intentionally used to inject intensity and challenge assumptions about plant-based lifestyles. Bold typography, raw imagery, and vivid layout choices work together to break conventional associations, while the use of green retains a familiar visual cue to ensure accessibility. Beyond aesthetics, this project addresses sustainability by highlighting the environmental consequences of meat consumption and proposing a more responsible alternative. The packaging itself is made with recyclable materials, reinforcing the ethical message behind the product. Ultimately, this project explores how visual design can shape cultural perceptions, subvert stereotypes, and support lifestyle choices that prioritize both personal values and planetary well-being. It invites viewers to see veganism not as a limitation, but as an empowered, defiant stance against destructive norms.
