A Digital Legacy is an interactive online exhibition that reimagines how people connect with ancient history. Inspired by the Roman Empire, this project combines real historical artifacts with personal stories from modern users. Visitors can upload images of meaningful items, which are then visually integrated into a shared digital object—like a Roman pot or mosaic. This turns users into co-curators, making the experience more personal and emotionally engaging. The project began with research and UX planning, then moved through wireframing and high-fidelity prototyping in Figma. It was developed into a working site using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on smooth interaction and responsive design. The site features include a 3D artifact viewer, a Share page for user contributions, and a News section filled with fictional but fact-inspired stories that keep the experience alive and evolving. A Digital Legacy brings history to life in a new way. It invites users to connect with the past while sharing something of their own, creating a living, growing digital memory. This makes learning about history more accessible, meaningful, and collaborative—bridging ancient culture with modern creativity and community.
