After COVID-19, San Francisco's population decreased by about 10%. Compared to the past, San Francisco has lost much of its vibrancy, and the decrease in residents has led to a lack of community. Creating the city's vitality and passion is the core of this project. I propose a way for people to communicate together, enjoy exercise, and gather in new spaces. Among San Francisco's population, people between the ages of 35 and 44 express the most concerns about mental health. I've selected Embarcadero Plaza as the site, which is close to their workplace in San Francisco's Financial District. This will redefine their daily routines during after-work hours and leisure time. Additionally, the space will be given a purpose of improving both their mental and physical health.
