Lemon Revolution is a creative campaign that challenges the commodification of labor and reimagines workers not as undervalued resources, but as empowered individuals. In English, “lemon” often means something defective. Yet lemons can also generate electricity, light a bulb, and symbolize economic independence—just like workers who, despite being overlooked, have the power to create meaningful change. Instead of traditional protests, Lemon Revolution offers practical and engaging tools for everyday action. The campaign includes three components: an infographic book, a mobile app, and a therapeutic kit. The book, designed like a supermarket flyer, critiques the commercialization of labor while providing accessible information on labor rights and history. The app helps users track daily labor conditions, stay informed, and receive emotional support through AI-based counseling. The therapeutic kit uses horticultural therapy, where growing a lemon tree becomes a symbolic way to reflect on one’s work, gain emotional relief, and find meaning in labor. Lemon Revolution makes labor rights easier to understand and apply in daily life. By combining education, emotional care, and small daily actions, it helps workers build the habit of protecting their rights and recognizing their own value—every day.
