As more people stay at home, the number of plant owners is steadily rising. Many treat plants not just as decoration but as living companions, creating a growing demand for accessible, emotional, and reliable plant care. However, a common reason plants die is improper watering—especially overwatering—often caused by a lack of understanding of each plant’s specific needs. TAG is a plant-dedicated hygrometer that intuitively tells users when to water, using a simple and clear color change rather than numerical data. Unlike conventional meters, TAG is fully analog, requires no charging, and is powered by dual solar panels. It remains functional even when exposed to water, making it ideal for everyday use. Inspired by clothing tags, its form is unobtrusive and emotional, naturally blending into any pot and interior. TAG comes with interchangeable measuring rods in small, medium, and large sizes to suit various pot depths, and can be reused even after repotting. TAG is more than a tool—it’s a user-friendly, aesthetic guide to healthy plant care. By making plant needs visible and understandable, it empowers even beginners to care for their plants with confidence and sensitivity.
