SmartRev is an innovative vehicle maintenance system designed to support gas-powered car drivers in managing their car’s health with confidence and ease. While electric vehicles offer smart maintenance tools, gas cars often lack user-friendly systems, leaving drivers confused by vague dashboard alerts and uncertain service timelines. SmartRev bridges this gap through a two-part solution: a mobile app and an augmented reality (AR) windshield display. The AR HUD provides real-time alerts projected directly onto the windshield when maintenance issues arise, allowing drivers to stay informed without taking their eyes off the road. Simultaneously, the mobile app offers a comprehensive dashboard where users can track diagnostic data, view service history, receive predictive maintenance insights, and schedule repairs with nearby service providers. SmartRev also allows users to digitally manage maintenance records by uploading service receipts, eliminating the need for paper tracking. The experience is designed to be intuitive and informative, translating complex automotive data into easy-to-understand insights. With SmartRev, drivers can stay proactive about their car’s health, avoid costly repairs, and feel more secure behind the wheel. It reimagines the relationship between people and their vehicles—making smart maintenance accessible to everyone, not just EV owners.
