This motion design is meant to highlight the social issue of teacher attrition in the US. In K-12 public schools, teachers are leaving the profession at alarmingly high rates. However, many of them have expressed a strong love for teaching and their students, and even a desire to come back. But the reasons to quit are overwhelming, and many end up leaving. This video uses motion design, kinetic typography, visual and digital graphic manipulation, and audio from teacher interviews to tell the story of why teachers quit.
