RAVIS is a satellite-based emergency alert system that enables swift response to potential risks during travel. The system consists of a portable device and a mobile app, designed to effectively handle both major and minor unexpected situations that may arise while traveling. Tailored for the unique context of travel, RAVIS is provided as a rental service, available for pickup and return at airports. The device features a simple twist-and-press interface, allowing users to request help anytime, anywhere, with accurate location data. The transmitted distress signal is relayed to the RAVIS ground station, which forwards the report to local authorities and embassies for a rapid response. RAVIS also offers a customizable kit composed of components such as a beacon light, siren, or first-aid supplies. Users can assemble the kit based on their destination and personal needs. The RAVIS app supports device rental and return, delivers localized risk alerts, provides situational response guides, and enables emergency reporting—all aimed at helping travelers stay safe and well-prepared. By preventing and responding to incidents abroad, RAVIS contributes to the development of a safer travel culture.
