LIVING CANVAS emerged in response to the rising number of single-person households and the spatial limitations that often accompany such lifestyles. Rather than viewing small spaces as purely restrictive, this project embraces them as opportunities for concentrated, meaningful design. The piece functions dually as a table for daily use and a canvas for visual or emotional expression, encouraging users to engage with their environment in both practical and reflective ways. Digitally modeled and rendered, the object blends functionality with aesthetic minimalism, offering a serene and adaptable presence within the home. It speaks to a growing social shift toward compact, purposeful living—where every object holds emotional weight and utility. LIVING CANVAS elevates mundane daily rituals by embedding a sense of identity, introspection, and creativity into the furniture we use every day. By transforming a familiar domestic surface into a site of expression, this project proposes a new way of living with objects: one that values slowness, intentionality, and emotional resonance.
