This is a creative project designed to transform Raffles Place MRT into a vibrant, engaging, and people-friendly space. Instead of just being a place to travel through, the aim is to turn it into a destination where office workers, commuters, and the public can relax, connect, and enjoy new experiences. The project introduces WinkStudio — a modular, multi-use event area featuring interactive LED screens, mirrors, motion sensors, and immersive sound. This space can easily adapt to host various activities, including performances, markets, games, and workshops. Each quarter of the year features a new theme, such as sustainability, kindness, or festive celebrations. Events like “Spooktacular Delights” and “FastracktoLove” mix fun and culture, offering everything from nostalgic games and cultural showcases to interactive quizzes and creative installations. These events are supported by the Wink app, which helps promote activities, track rewards, and encourage participation. By blending physical design with digital interaction, DDUX_01 creates an enjoyable and inclusive environment that supports local businesses, builds community spirit, and brings life to an underused space. The project ultimately makes Raffles Place more than a transit hub — it becomes a space for engagement, exploration, and connection.
