HALo is an unmanned halal restaurant designed for Muslim travelers in Korea. Strategically located in major train stations, HALo provides a convenient and culturally respectful dining experience. This project addresses the lack of halal-certified restaurants in Korea, especially outside Seoul, where Muslim tourists often struggle to find proper meals. HALo integrates AI technology, modular architecture, and user-friendly services to solve this issue. AI-powered cooking robots prepare meals that strictly follow halal guidelines. Users can place orders through a dedicated mobile app, customize their meals, and even upload personal recipes. The system also supports spiritual needs by offering prayer time notifications and Qibla direction information. The restaurant operates without staff and is built with a modular design that allows flexible installation in various station environments. Its clean, modern aesthetic reflects the Islamic values of purity, respect, and minimalism. HALo aims to make travel in Korea more accessible and welcoming for Muslim visitors. By respecting religious practices and offering safe, delicious meals, HALo transforms dining from a challenge into a meaningful and enjoyable experience, enhancing the overall impression of Korea as a travel destination.
