The protocol robot is a service robot designed to support staff in formal protocol duties, particularly those that involve repetitive tasks and emotional stress. It aims to reduce the workload of human attendants while enhancing the quality and consistency of VIP services. The robot features a digital facial monitor capable of displaying expressions such as smiles or greetings, allowing it to communicate emotionally with guests. At the center of its body is a display panel that provides visual information such as guest names, schedules, or directions. On its side, a seamlessly integrated tray allows the robot to deliver drinks, flowers, nameplates, or small gifts. Below the tray, a built-in storage compartment can hold luggage, backup items, or refreshments. Equipped with a LiDAR sensor and a vision camera on top, the robot can scan and analyze the event space in advance to map out efficient paths and adapt to different environments. A lower proximity sensor helps the robot detect nearby people and avoid collisions in crowded areas. On the back, a charging port allows for easy recharging, supporting continuous operation throughout the day. This robot reimagines the protocol experience by combining technology, empathy, and efficiency.
