Onebite is a personalized 3D food printer designed to support healthy and autonomous eating routines for older adults. Many face stress around meals due to physical decline, loss of appetite, decision fatigue, and dependency on family. Onebite tackles these problems with health-based meal planning, a seamless printing experience, and data-backed nutrition management. Users begin with a personalized onboarding process that syncs with health data and selects top nutrients tailored to their conditions. The device prints bite-sized food using a 4-axis robotic arm and laser cooking technology, delivering layered dishes with both visual and textural variety. Onebite allows daily customization based on health goals and mood. Every meal is tracked and archived, offering feedback to users and healthcare professionals. It not only simplifies meals but creates a new food culture where autonomy and emotional comfort coexist. Onebite is not just a device—it is an inclusive design solution that respects dignity and well-being through food.
