Beyond diet and exercise, medical interventions may be needed. OptiWeight, a decision-support tool, assists obese patients in understanding their risks and exploring treatment options, including medications and surgeries. It helps evaluate the effectiveness, side effects, lifestyle changes, and costs of treatments, improving doctor-patient communication and aiding patients in finding suitable treatments.
