CareCompass integrates AI triage, AR navigation, and cloud computing to recommend hospitals, provide dynamic guidance, reduce wait times, and centralize records to alleviate patient stress, optimize resources, and improve overall experience. The main users are young to middle-aged patients needing medical attention. Family members who assist patients during visits are also primary users. Secondary users include healthcare providers and doctors benefiting from optimized patient flow and reduced administrative burdens. Challenges include long waiting times (75% of time spent waiting) and resource misallocation, as tertiary hospitals are overwhelmed with minor cases. Complex procedures often confuse patients, causing stress and inefficiency. The wider context includes healthcare system strain, patient anxiety, and increasing mobile solution adoption, highlighting the need for a streamlined approach to medical visits, optimizing resource use, and reducing patient stress. The purpose of CareCompass is to enhance efficiency and optimize medical resource allocation in China. It addresses the challenges of an overburdened healthcare system, where tertiary hospitals are overwhelmed with minor cases, and patients face confusion and stress during visits. The solution uses AI-assisted triage and hospital recommendations to guide patients to the right facilities, real-time dynamic guidance to navigate procedures, and centralized medical record management for easy access and sharing.
