Masterhood serves as a platform connecting young users with retired craftsmen, or "hidden masters," skilled in diverse trades such as clothing repair, electronics, dolls, and furniture within local communities. It features a hybrid drawing tool that blends analog and digital functions, allowing seniors to visually demonstrate their techniques effectively. This tool facilitates clear knowledge transfer and enhances learning experiences for younger users lacking repair skills. The app not only bridges generational gaps but also preserves traditional craftsmanship by promoting intergenerational learning and collaboration. It offers structured courses curated by senior masters, enabling retirees to pass on their expertise in a systematic manner. These courses enrich the lives of younger learners while providing retirees with fulfilling opportunities to share their knowledge. Beyond practical skills, Masterhood fosters a sense of community by celebrating the wisdom and craftsmanship of seniors. It aims to recognize and utilize the hidden talents of retirees who might otherwise go unnoticed, providing them with meaningful engagement and value in their post-retirement years. By facilitating skill-sharing and fostering cultural exchange, Masterhood creates a vibrant community centered around craftsmanship, lifelong learning, and mutual respect between generations.
