Automobile accidents are a leading cause of death for pregnant women and a major cause of fetal injuries. Many pregnant women avoid wearing seat belts due to the discomfort of conventional seat belts and the misconception that abdominal pressure can harm the fetus. This incorrect perception can lead to greater harm in the event of an accident, highlighting the need for specialized safety measures for pregnant women. To address this issue, the portable maternity safety belt "Ma Belt" has been designed to be compatible with ISOFIX, an internationally standardized car seat installation system. This design minimizes incorrect seat belt usage and ensures safety. Additionally, it adjusts to the changing body shape of pregnant women as their pregnancy progresses, minimizing abdominal pressure and providing a comfortable journey for both the mother and the fetus. The "Ma Belt" not only promotes the correct usage and importance of seat belts for pregnant women but also conveys the message that society should protect expectant mothers.
