LyriForm is a shock-sensitive mat designed to detect falls, particularly beneficial for senior citizens who are prone to such accidents. It consists of a cross-shaped frame with built-in shock-detecting sensors and a square mat made of TPU material to mitigate impact during falls. The sensors analyze the strength and timing of impacts, sending relevant information to caregivers for prompt action, potentially increasing the golden hour for the injured. Additionally, LyriForm serves as an intruder detection system, tracking unauthorized movements and notifying both the individual and their guardian of any intrusions. It can also track movement paths, enhancing security measures further.
