THE HOUSE IS A HOME The lesson the experienced first aid people give us is: The life starts again as soon as children go to school, and families have a home better than a tent. Home helps in re-starting daily routines ? and in looking forward to better days again. The first aid house in the minds of our architects is one that will become a home. It is designed to give immediate comfort, with all surfaces ready to live after installation, yet, allowing individual finishing and detailing both out and in as families get settled. The light weight house will be anchored to ground on pillars made of light weight plastic tubes which may be filled with concrete of sand. The platform is a hollow construction ? which can be sand-filled for the weight and balance as well as for sound. The foundation may be as high off the ground as needed, just piling up the pillar tubes. The core construction is based on modules of 80 cm width, all the units being plantmade with either a window, a door or solid wall. The installation is designed to be furniture-alike ? no electricity needed. All tools needed are included, also illustrated instructions.
