The Flip Video Ultra Series is the world’s simplest camcorder. A friendly, handheld device, it is the first camcorder to streamline the process of capturing and sharing videos. With its on-board integrated software, and USB arm the Ultra enables editing, organizing and seamless uploading of files to YouTube and other video-sharing sites. In short, it allows people, even techno-phobes, to share a glimpse of their life with others. Since the device is targeted to the mass market, the design team needed to develop a product that communicates simplicity in a fun and user-friendly manner. Focused on form factor, ergonomics and control layout, the team achieved a compact footprint that is able to fit into any pocket while providing unmatched portability and simplicity for capturing, editing and sharing high-quality video—anytime, anywhere.
