This book is published by Ten Speed Press in cooperation with the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. It features photographs of baseball artifacts taken by Terry Heffernan at the Hall of Fame archives, with historical background captions written by Delphine Hirasuna. The book is targeted to baseball fans of all ages and people who enjoy beautiful photography and design. It is meant to provide a fun, fascinating, and quick read. This is the first of a series of “100 Icons” books that will be created by Kit Hinrichs, Terry Heffernan and Delphine Hirasuna.
