Fitlinxx AmpStrip is the first heart rate and activity monitor that athletes can comfortably wear 24/7. AmpStrip adheres directly to the user’s torso, using a hypoallergenic-grade adhesive, to collect data that is significantly more accurate than other products on the market. The device is about the size of a large Band-Aid and continuously tracks heart rate, activity, respiration, body temperature and posture. This data is stored, displayed and accessed on a mobile app platform. Enabling users to monitor their performance and where their bodies are in the athletic training cycle of stress-recovery, enabling better decisions about the type and intensity of each day’s workout. The design of the AmpStrip is thin, flexible, and waterproof with embedded electronics, induction charging and wireless Bluetooth connectivity. The body of molded silicone encases the electronics for maximum flexibility, enhanced comfort, and ensure AmpStrip is impervious to liquids. A distinct silhouette and angled rippled texture create an iconic visual impression for the product that is aggressive and athletic while at the same time comfortable and practical. This strong aesthetic statement is a key element in the business strategy to differentiate in the crowded wearable fitness monitor category.
