The no-compromise, aerodynamic design of the Fuji Transonic is the culmination of Anvil’s years of experience in designing high-performance carbon fiber bicycles with Advanced Sports International. The Transonic design uses sharp-surface transitions to accentuate dramatic highlights and shadows across the frame. Crisp edges on the front and rear triangles of the bike create a negative space that emphasizes both speed and motion. The front and rear brakes are integrated into the fluid detailing of the forks and seat stay relatively. From the aerodynamically contoured head tube-fork-downtube junction that blends the frame areas together to ensure smooth, uninterrupted airflow, to the seat tube-seatstay junction sculpted to reduce turbulent air exiting the seat tube, the Transonic is a carbon race bike that is precision personified, allowing riders to unleash unparalleled speeds without restraint. Just as important as speed is the user-friendly details that make the bike easy to service, with a vertical dropout for significantly easier wheel changes, and a direct-mount brake on the seatstays instead of under the chainstay. The result is a design that successfully fuses clean, aggressive elements with Fuji’s classic, organic design—a bike that is stiffer, lighter, and FASTER.
