SAPE stands for Safety Accident Prevention Equipment. It is modularly attached to the chin strap of a safety helmet that workers must wear to prevent safety accidents. It detects wear of the helmet through the contact detection sensor mounted on the product and if an emergency is detected, it sends an alert to the field manager. It is the first safety product designed in a modular fashion, unlike existing integrated smart helmet products, and thus has high compatibility and affordability. The product is linked to smartphone applications, and the application includes various convenient functions such as monitoring working environment (fine dust, weather, disaster alert), send notification and messenger functions in industrial sites. It is also possible to apply to smart mobility (electronic kickboards, electric bicycles) markets and delivery service (motorcycles) markets that require safety helmets.
