The Philips Hue Filament bulbs combines the aesthetics of a traditional filament bulb with all the advantages of a modern smart bulb. This is not just a matter of following trends. With this new product many fixtures with an exposed bulb or open lampshade can now be connected to the smart home, and still look as intended when the light is switched off. Although the bulb absolutely has a vintage look and feel you can notice the subtle details in the outline of the glass and the preciseness of the filament that give away that this is more than just a traditional light bulb. Added Bluetooth functionality makes the bulbs also accessible for those who didn’t buy into the full Hue ecosystem yet.
