Cities like NY, Seoul, or Tokyo are the heaven for electric signages and screens. The nights are brighter and more colorful than the its day. Even though it surely gives certain charm to the grey city as well as some commercial benefits with the advertisements, they are not very energy effective. If the screens and signages are going to exist for the benefits of advertising and communicating, we need a better kind. Large screen advertisement uses energy for 24/7. It is impactful in terms of how catch they are to the passengers, but also to the usage of energy. On top of the energy usage, heat generated by current screen signages is another problem in the the signage concentrated area. Ad_Fan is a new form of advertisement in the cities. During the day time, the fans are used as wind turbine to collect energy from wind tunnel effect between skyscrapers. The energy is collected and used at night time to turn on the Ads. The fans are turned creating LED holograms through its fan rotations to be used as a commercial.

JUDGES COMMENTS:

Good creative & resourceful sustainable Ad Concept & Application,Potentially productive idea. Considering wind power without the rotation would be more productive.
