The UNEP (UN Environmental Program) presents 'forest fires' as three major environmental issues. Forest fires not only cause direct damage to animals and plants and soil, but also cause soil runoff, landslides and additional damage such as flooding of pomegranates or rivers. For this reason, it is very important to prevent secondary damage and restore forests. However, it takes at least 30 years to dense the forests devastated by forest fires, and forest restoration work such as sowing seeds and planting seedlings is a great labor in this process. We suggest 'GroWalk' as a way to help this. ’GroWalk‘ is a product and service design inspired by the Santa Dog project, and the subject of the project is dogs. When dogs play freely after releasing dogs equipped with seed pocket devices in areas where forest restoration is urgently needed, seeds flow out of the device, contributing greatly to restoring the forest. In addition, as it uses a campaign-type volunteer project method, it can be shown to more people and increase interest in areas affected by forest fires.
