In a world that heavily emphasizes visual content, the constant exposure to visuals through platforms like Instagram and YouTube can cause stress. As a result, people are turning to audio platforms such as talk shows, audiobooks, ASMR, and lectures for stress relief. Audio content is primarily consumed through smartphones, but accompanying visuals can often be distracting and make it difficult for users to efficiently use their time and focus solely on the audio. When Buddy is attached to the phone, it recognizes the NFC built into the device and changes the lock screen. The playlist in the selected slot on the dial is then played. Users cannot navigate to other pages or apps until they detach their Buddy from their phone.
