The rapid changes in the surrounding environment as individuals in their 60s transition from middle age to old age disrupt their regular routines and make it difficult to maintain a healthy 'circadian rhythm'. An irregular circadian rhythm is also closely related to geriatric depression. To prevent these feelings of depression in the elderly, a solution is proposed to help users actively maintain a regular circadian rhythm and live a vibrant life through this ‘Haru’ app. Through this app, users can improve their circadian rhythm by engaging in activities such as scheduling regular waking and sleep times, going for walks, and expressing gratitude in a journal. The app also targets depression by allowing for continuous interactions with an AI character.
