Most of children suffer from medical anxiety, which is a long-standing and unresolved problem. Nowadays the service of the hospital should not only provide medical technology services, but also rise from meeting the physiological needs of patients to psychological needs, and strive to create a friendly and harmonious overall atmosphere so that children can better cooperate with doctors for medical treatment diagnosis and treatment activities, to promote physical rehabilitation and meet the requirements of consumers. Children, who are special vulnerable groups, are developing in a more humane direction because of their special physical and psychological development conditions. At present, there is a lack of interesting educational digital products on the market that are specially designed to relieve children's anxiety about seeking medical treatment. Dr CAT’s Clinic is a mobile application that aims to improve children's experience through the stimulation of a game reward mechanism. The name comes from the story background of the application: a cat named Beechy as a doctor opened a clinic in the forest to treat various animals. With Dr CAT’s Clinic, children can learn about the medical treatment process and related knowledge which can encourage them to actively cooperate with medical treatment in stable mood.
