Last winter in China, a woman was found abducted at 14, chained, brutally abused for 26 years, and forced to give birth to 8 children. However, the government did nothing but covering it up. Through research, I discovered this rampant phenomenon of trafficking in women in rural China. Inspired by it, I speculatively designed a company that objectifies women because of their fertility and sells women as commodities in order to satirize and criticize this phenomenon.
