People diagnosed with social phobia are afraid and anxious in specific social situations, such as, receiving negative judgment, facing embarrassment, and getting rejected. Through therapy, some of these people are recommended to use masks to further protect their emotions. Cleveland Clinic Psychologist, Dr. Susan Albers stated, “For those with social phobia, wearing a mask brings relief.” Thus, Dr. Susan Albers also expressed that to the million people struggling with social phobia, wearing a mask provides them another sense of freedom. Therefore, I sought the need to design a unique styling mask for the large number of people facing social phobia. I designed this mask by harmoniously using the smiling glasses and partial protectors that are customized according to the shape of each person's face and facial features, and implemented a fashionable mask through D digital programs. Additionally, multiple colors can be set according to customer preference on the smiling mask. The psychological benefit of wearing a smiling mask can be cognitive restructuring training and situational exposure practice can be performed naturally in social or daily life. Ultimately, under anonymity, you can show your individuality more effectively by wearing a fashionable mask.
