My video 'Never Too Late' used both philosophical and scientific ideas to communicate an action-oriented message. As the title says, I wanted to communicate that it's never too late to start combating climate change. I noticed that people always make excuses about their disadvantageous situation, but the situation only got worse as time passed. My video follows two protagonists who are ignorant about climate change that ends up rushing to save the world, showing that anybody could be a climate hero. Karina and Ava exist in several parallel universes, and in each universe, they want to go back in time. I used this idea to communicate that we should act now, as the climate heroes of 2024 would love to just be back in 2023. With this project, I wanted to raise awareness about climate change using a comedic tone to emphasize the casual easiness of becoming a climate hero. I used the program Premiere Pro to complete this project. I am very proud of my work and glad to be able to become a liaison for the pressing issue of climate change.
