Medical examinations in hospitals can easily instill fear and anxiety in children. Hospital equipment typically features plain and metallic textures, which do not appear child-friendly. SoTo was initiated to address these issues and provide children with a more comfortable hospital environment. Mushrooms are naturally occurring with curved and soft, round shapes that are inherently appealing to children. This mushroom-shaped stethoscope stimulates children's curiosity and makes it easy for them to accept the medical device naturally, reducing anxiety related to medical equipment and creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The project focuses on enhancing children's health and hospital experiences positively by offering innovative solutions that benefit both children and parents. The stethoscope's key features include frequency adjustment, temperature control, and lighting functions. Babies may feel uncomfortable if the stethoscope is cold when it touches their skin. However, our stethoscope includes a temperature control dial in addition to the frequency adjustment dial, allowing the temperature to be adjusted to match the baby's skin, with the mushroom's color becoming gradually darker as the temperature rises.
