Yoshino introduces the world’s first solid-state portable power stations in four sizes, offering increased safety, compactness and efficiency into a portable package. Most power products on the market are technical and masculine, we designed our solid-state portable power stations to be less like a tool and more like a lifestyle product, to appeal to everyone and address diverse user needs. Yoshino offers consumers a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels, generators and liquid electrolyte lithium-ion batteries. We created a recognizable and scalable design language with the metal handle and the dynamic, angular, and soft geometry that accentuates power and conveys a stable and approachable form. We used high quality sustainable materials like our metal handle in contrast to painted plastic on competitive products. We also designed the dish surface for durability, as it offers protection and reduces impact to the UI display and interface. We included 8-11 outputs for AC, DC, and USB to power most gadgets. Our design offers a reliable energy source across a range of contexts: family getaways, outdoor adventures, commercial job sites, emergencies. It showcases how cutting-edge portable power in a smaller, lighter and elegantly-designed form factor can enable us to live safely and sustainably.
