IBM Rogue Cloud is a software training tool in the form of a mini multiplayer computer game. This tool is used to train developers that will be coding in the new software environment IBM Microclimate. This new environment is complex and can be difficult to understand and adapt to. IBM Rogue Cloud is designed to appeal to it’s developer user base through a nostalgic vibe, offering them a 2D explorer computer game world that they would likely have seen or played in as kids. The goal of this game design is help familiarize developers with the new software environment that they will be working in.
