The Precision Fixed Workstation Family (3260, 3460, 3660, 5860, 7865, 7960) features a new design language, inspired by nature. The desktop tower products utilize a hexagon architecture to embrace openness and optimize airflow. Taking inspiration from the natural world around us, the honeycomb grid formation improves efficiency and provides harmony across the front bezel of all the products. Using this geometric design for Dell’s enterprise solutions builds an iconic identity for the entire portfolio and ties Precision workstations into the data center. The hex pattern also provides a stronger surface, delivers a performance boost, and enables thermal improvements. Influenced by nature, Dell’s enterprise products feature a dynamic honeycomb pattern that elevates the front bezel for a timeless, evolving design. The new Precision portfolio is designed to share common hexagon core elements that adds continuity across the diverse products. The visual connection between all Dell data center products is distinctly strong, while allowing unique design variations to knit seamlessly together. The hexagonal lattice drives brand identity as well as delivering solid, reliable and secure solutions that users can trust.
