Dell G15 Gaming Laptop is designed for diversity and to fit users’ unique styles. The design took inspiration from cross-cultural influence such as K-pop, Japan City Pop and Anime intertwined with gaming culture. It features playful nostalgia in a way that remixes the past into contemporary culture, and provides an opportunity to appeal to Gen Z. Key design tenets were reliability, performance, and simplicity. The G15 has a pop-punk revival feel to the design, using the late 1990s and early 2010s era for a retro-inspired and street-punk aesthetic. It features an iconic shape and detail that builds on the Dell Gaming brand legacy. The laptop has a strong visual presence that expresses performance, particularly on the accent color rear fin. The exterior is simplified with reduced parts, and expressive PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic finishes. The interior is revamped with consistent thermal detailing and optimized touchpoints for the user. The systems are customizable and flexible, to suit the needs of modern gamers. *Post-consumer recycled (PCR) content comes from products that have reached their lifecycle and would have otherwise ended up in landfills.
