This is a tableware collection design for Kaiseki Cuisine. The ideas for these tableware designs come from Kaiseki Cuisine. Every Kaiseki Cuisine restaurant will change its menu along with the changing seasons. However, they won’t change their dishes and tableware for different seasons. There is no consistency of dishes throughout the whole menu. So, I designed a collection for the four seasons in a year to match the changing menu. There are 72 pieces of tableware in the whole collection for four seasons. And there are 18 pieces of tableware for each season. Of the 18 pieces, 4 are made of wood, and the other 14 are made of ceramic. The wooden plates are for the main dishes. Every season has unique main dishes’ wood type and abstract shape to show the season it belongs to.
